Karylle on getting married: ‘There’s no rush’
by Bernie Franco | May 15, 2012 8:36 AM |

“There comes a time when you have to step back and before you can really love others, you have to love yourself first. That’s the empowerment of feeling good about yourself and taking care of your self so that you could then take care of others,” paliwanag ni Karylle sa press conference ng Miladay Jewels, kung saan ang actress-singer ang kauna-unahang celebrity endorser.

“Those are like cherries on top but it’s really why we’re in this business. It’s more of sharing what is your talent and what God has given you and of course meeting people along the way,” paliwanag niya.

“As a girl cannot answer that question ever,” mabilis na tugon ni Karylle.

“Actually I always think about it in terms of in God’s time,” sagot niya. “Ang hirap pilitin ang ganung bagay. With my friends din actually, they’re just getting married now, marami pa rin ang hindi marriedso ‘yung generation kasi namin nagiging mas late ‘yung marrying age,so there’s no rush because we have experienced broken families and we have learned to be patient about it.

Dati, I remember, when I was in high school 18 (years old) was the marrying age and of course definitely that has changed. I think all things come in good time talaga, eh.”
