“I love everything about him,” 22-year-old Dianne Medina said about his boyfriend of more than a year, fellow Star Magic talent Rodjun Cruz. The Banana Split girl described her boyfriend as “super bait” and happily related that their relationship is getting stronger.

Dianne and Rodjun’s romance started when they both joined the dance show U Can Dance Version 2 last year. It was also during that time that Dianne was allegedly being courted by Rayver, Rodjun’s younger brother and the reason that was hampering the Rayver-Shaina Magdayao team-up from flourishing. The petite actress explained that her closeness to Rayver was simply mistaken for something romantic, but it was entirely not. She also defended that they are under one handler, which explained the inevitable friendship.

Now that she is vocal about her romance with Rodjun, the budding actress is just glad that things between her and Rayver have been cleared. She said that Rodjun possesses all the qualities she is looking for in a boyfriend. She even recalled that Rodjun’s surprise for her last year during her birthday. He went to her house and gave her a necklace with a heart-shaped pendant.

Dianne is now busy taping for her current gag show, Banana Split, which premiers on October 11, Saturday. Having been raised in a conservative family, this Communication Arts graduate clarified that her new gag show is not sleazy, which made her accept the offer to be among the cast.“Direk Bobot (Mortiz) talked to me and he said na hindi naman ako babastusin dito. It’s more of you are going to act it out what’s given on the script, tapos medyo naughty lang siya na may pagka-sexy and funny pero hindi naman ‘yung parang sex object ka,” Dianne concluded.

Dianne used to be a segment host for the now-defunct comedy news program, Wazzup Wazzup. She also appeared in Let’s Go and the teleserye Dyosa.
