Manuel Chua is glad he gave showbiz a chance

Manuel Chua is glad that he gave showbiz a chance even if he never intended to enter the industry after his stint on Pinoy Fear Factor. The 29-year-old budding actor added that he is having a great time learning the ropes of showbiz. He also feels privileged to be part of big projects, like George and Cecil which stars Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo and Lovers In Paris which is top-billed by Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion. He describes his co-stars as down-to-earth and approachable. “Okay po sila sa katrabaho kasi magaan sila sa katrabaho at hindi ka maiilang sa kanila.”

Manuel’s first big break came when he was cast in the pilot chapter of Precious Hearts Romances: Bud Brothers, which eventually led to bigger projects. While he gets to act opposite big stars, he is still overwhelmed and flattered whenever people would walk up to him to pay him a compliment or have a picture taken with him.

He is also thankful to Direk Joey Reyes, who directs George and Cecil, who once told him that his acting had improved a lot. Manuel declared that he now wants to make the most of his stay in showbiz.
