For Anne Curtis, 2009 has been full of blessings and there's nothing more to ask for. "Wala na akong iniisip pang hingin. Sobra-sobra na 'yung nakuha ko this year kaya wala na akong ine-expect… Sobra-sobrang thankful na ako sa lahat ng binigay sa akin, I'm just going to keep doing my best kung ano man yung nasa akin ngayon, ayoko nang humingi pa dahil baka sabihin [ni God], ‘Sumosobra ka na anak.’”

Anne also got an unexpected surprise when world famous novelist Paolo Coelho sent her a message via Twitter, the micro-blogging site. The latest message sent by the author of The Alchemist reads, "You are great, I am still waiting for your two movies to arrive, I will send you DM (direct message) as soon as I finish it." This message made a huge impact on Anne.

“After tinweet ako ni Paolo Coelho, I realized how important it is to give back to your fans kasi isipin mo tinweet back lang ako ni Paolo Coelho sobra na akong nagtatatalon sa tuwa as in [napasigaw ako ng] ‘Oh my God! Oh my God!’ As in! So sabi ko ganun pala 'yung feeling [na napapansin ka ng famous person you admire.] It made me appreciate my fans even more kaya ngayon todo reply naman ako sa mga fans ko sa Twitter kasi na-experience ko 'yung happiness na ma-replyan ka ng isang taong ina-admire mo."

Meawhile, Anne does not mind being single during special occasions like Christmas and New Year. "Okay lang walang relationship kasi last year din naman single ako. Well, maybe, it is just about getting used to it, and okay lang din naman kasi super busy din with career and maraming activities in the past months. I have my family and good friends so masaya pa rin naman."
