Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes don’t let fame get into their heads

Mara Clara stars Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes thanked all the loyal viewers for religiously following the drama every night. After dominating the nationwide TV ratings since it’s debut October of last year, Mara Clara has now opened it’s more dramatic and shocking second season. The series has also made stars out of former Goin’ Bulilit cast members Kathryn and Julia.

Kathryn said she was surprised that because of the show, she and Julia now have their respective fans clubs who actually go out of their way to show their love and support. Madaming groups na iba’t iba ‘yung pangalan nila and talagang pinapanood nila kami sa taping at sinasamahan kami kapag may mall shows. Sila rin ‘yung nagpo-promote sa Internet. Nagpapasalamat kami sa kanila.”

No matter how mean she is as Clara, Julia still won the love of the TV viewers. Wala pa namang nang-aaway sa akin,” she shared.

Though they are now being hailed as the new primetime drama princesses, both Kathryn and Julia chose not to let fame get into their heads. For Julia, she is just thankful that Mara Clara paved the way for her and Kathryn to show their acting talent.

Despite their now busy schedules, Kathryn and Julia still value their education. Kathryn is now in a third year high school student while Julia is in her last year. Mahirap talagang pagsabayin ‘yung school at taping. I really try my best na pumasok at maka catch up sa lessons,” shared Kathryn.

Julia also talked about her plans when she starts her college life in the next school year. “Naiisip ko pong kumuha ng either Tourism or Culinary Arts.
