March 27 marks the day of the release of a cell phone commercial in Korea which features former teen star SandaraPark as a member of a new girl group for YG Entertainment. Starring alongside one of Korea’s hottest boy groups, Big Bang, it is said among netizens that it’s quite a big deal for an unknown and debuting group to land a cell phone endorsement even before they are launched. Sandara’s group has yet to acquire a name and a lot of people, including her fans here in the Philippines are highly anticipating her fomal debut in Korea’s showbiz scene, which is almost two years in the making.

It can be remembered that Sandara left the Philippines in 2007 to pursue a career in her homeland. Sandara was first seen in a music video early 2008 for singer Gummy then she landed a cameo role in k-drama Return of Iljime which was shown last February. Sandara asked her followers to stay be patient and pray for her debut in Korea. Looks like all her hard work and prayers paid off.
