Host-actress Ruffa Gutierrez denied that there is anything romantic going on between her and her former I Love Betty La Fea co-star John Lloyd Cruz. There have been rumors claiming that Ruffa’s new guy is Lloydy. “I don’t think there is anything to clarify kasi unang-una, tapos na ‘yung I Love Betty La Fea. I mean kung sakaling may part two, puwede natin siyang pag-usapan all day and all night. Pero I don’t think may part two as of now, so there’s really nothing to talk about,” the host of Ruffa and Ai pointed out.

In a May 7 interview, Ruffa clarified that there is no truth to it and that she has not seen John Lloyd ever since I Love Betty La Fea ended. “I mean the last time I saw him was at the taping of I Love Betty La Fea. I have no idea where he is. I think it’s really funny to be linked to someone who is not even here. Hello! Hindi siya ang leading man ko sa aking next project, huwag na natin siyang pag-usapan.”

She said that she finds it cute to be linked to a handsome and good actor but there is nothing romantic going on between them. “Like I said, there’s really nothing for me to talk about. I mean, the only time we were in a hotel was with the cast party of Betty La Fea and that was like 15 of us there, including our director so they couldn’t say that it was just me and John Lloyd. And as a matter of fact, he left early to be with my brother and his friends.”
