On The Buzz yesterday, Ruffa Gutierrez stated that people should just wait for actor John Lloyd Cruz and magazine editor Liz Uy to confirm if their break-up is true or not. John Lloyd is currently in New York, shooting a movie with Gov. Vilma Santos and Luis Manzano, while Liz is in Europe with Anne Curtis, Ruffa’s younger brother Raymond and some non-showbiz friends.

Coincidentally, Ruffa’s name has been coming up as the supposed third wheel in the relationship of Lloydie and Liz, but she consistently denied this. “Siguro we wait for her (Liz) to come back, we wait for John Lloyd to come back para sila na magsabi kung totoo man (na break na sila),” Ruffa said. “Si Liz naman natawa sa third party (issue). I think that’s good also na natawa siya kasi it’s unfair also din ‘yun sa mga taong nababanggit (nadadamay)…Mahirap naman na mag-speculate tayo whether they’re still together, or they broke up. Raymond is with Liz right now. Sabi ni Mon (Raymond), ayaw mag-comment ni Liz. So let’s respect Liz’s silence kasi she’s not in showbiz,” shared Ruffa.

Meanwhile, Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino also aired their opinion about the matter, saying it is quite difficult for them to talk about it because aside from the fact that Liz is their stylist on Showbiz News Ngayon, she is their friend. “Ang hirap-hirap mag-comment when you are close to someone. Sometimes it’s even easier to ask someone that you’re not close to (with) a question that’s prying than it is to somebody na super-close ka kasi kapag super close ka hintayin mo na sa kanya manggaling,” Kris explained. Boy stressed that one tends to protect a friend when one is caught in a controversy. “Marami kang alam (but) you have the tendency to protect the feelings of a person you are close to.” Boy and Kris also swore that they did not know if John Lloyd and Liz have indeed split up because the stylist didn’t seem problematic a few days before she left for Europe. “She (Liz) left Tuesday. Last Friday with us on SNN, maayos everything. Nakangiti naman. Mukhang okay,” Kris said.
