Dubbed as the wedding event of the year, the Judy Ann Santos-Ryan Agoncillo nuptials were done in a private ceremony attended by relatives and friends last April 28. No media coverage was allowed inside the church and at the reception. But as a way of thanking all the fans who supported their relationship, Judai and Ryan are entrusting the exclusive footage of their wedding to ABS-CBN for broadcast this Sunday night, May 17.

The young superstar and the TV host-actor exchanged vows in the San Juan Nepomuceno Church in San Juan, Batangas in a ceremony officiated by Father Tito Caluag. Lovely bride Judai walked down the aisle while Agot Isidro sang the couple’s chosen wedding theme, “Runaway” by The Corrs. Afterwards for the Offertory, Agot and Ogie Alcasid sang “One Hand, One Heart,” and for Communion, Regine Velasquez surprised Judai and Ryan with a duet with Ogie singing “The Prayer.”

The church wedding only lasted 45 minutes and was followed by the reception at the Balai Resort in Anilao. The APO Hiking Society sang their timeless hits “Doobidoo” and “Batang Bata Ka Pa.” But it was during the time the trio sang their ballad “Panalangin” that Judai and Ryan shed tears of joy. Martin Nievera also performed “Unchanging Love,” a song which he composed especially for the couple.
