It was Karylle’s second time to sit down for The Buzz Tough Ten last Sunday and she graciously answered all questions related to ex-boyfriend Dingdong Dantes. First, she revealed that it’s only a matter of time before she can say that she’s over him. “Masasabi kong andun na sa finish line. I think siyempre because we talk about it all the time sa TV, may konting kulit factor lang in my head, kasi people keep asking me about it. But I think it’s pretty much done.”

Entering a serious relationship, however, is a different thing. “Hindi [pa ako ready ma-in love ulit]. Actually I always ask myself that question especially nung birthday ko. Parang everyone kept wishing, ‘Sana ma-in love ka.’ And it always seems like parang pwede na pero I don’t want to be unfair din with somebody I would be calling my boyfriend na hindi ko naman totally mabigay sa kanya yung heart ko ng complete,” she added.

Even though she is a romantic at heart, Karylle has no illusions that there is still a chance for her and Dingdong to get back together again in the future. Hypothetically speaking, even if she comes face to face with him one of these days, the pretty singer-actress claimed that there is nothing left for her to say except ask him about what’s going on with his life. Whatever bitterness she felt for him before were all gone and she hopes that people would start feeling the same way about the whole issue as well. “Parang magha-half a year na ata or magwa-one year na kaming break. Wala naman. Siguro kakamustahin ko lang [siya]. Kasi siyempre when we were together we always talk about our dreams and goals so I’ll just ask how far along he is in reaching those dreams. So siguro yun lang. Oo [I will be very civil], hindi [ako magagalit]. I already made my peace with him. So feeling ko it was also my way of telling people around me na, ‘Hey, it’s time also for you to let go of whatever you feel for him because for me tapos na. I think one of the reasons why there are so many blessings pouring in is because I’ve made my peace with everything that has happened.

Karylle revealed that she already had a talk with Marian Rivera (who is allegedly the cause of her split-up with Dingdong) way before the intrigues between them came up. “Anong sasabihin ko? Hindi, kasi actually for me nakausap ko na siya before and I think that was that. There were some things that I had to say and I said all of it and it ended there. I said it in a very civil way. At that time, there were no rumors of anything. So okay na, yun na yun,” she simply stated.
