Dr. Bistek Rosario breaks his silence on Hayden Kho scandal |

Dr. Herbert “Bistek” Rosario has finally spoken up about his alleged involvement in spreading Dr. Hayden Kho’s sex videos. Last May 28 at a senate hearing, Hayden had named Bistek and another friend Eric Chua as the possible masterminds behind the illegal distribution of the videos. In an exclusive interview with Jay Ruiz on TV Patrol World, Bistek denied any involvement in the video scandal.
Bistek and Hayden were good friends from their days at the University of Sto. Tomas School of Medicine. Bistek was around when Hayden and Dr. Vicki Belo began their relationship in 2005. But he broke off their friendship when his girlfriend confessed to him in December 2008 that she had had an affair with Hayden. “Mixed emotions ako noon. Na-shock ako. This was a guy who I really trusted. I got angry din.”
After that incident, Bistek and Eric met with Dr. Vicki where Eric revealed to her that Hayden had been keeping video recordings of his sexual encounters. According to Bistek, Dr. Vicki feared that Hayden might have recorded their own encounters, so she instructed Eric and Bistek to get all the videos from Hayden’s laptop. Bistek and Eric got a hold of the computer, but before they could recover the videos, they got a call about Hayden’s suicide attempt. The two then rushed to Hayden’s condominium where there they found him lying unconscious on the floor. Eric and Bistek rushed Hayden to the Makati Medical Hospital where Bistek oversaw Hayden’s recovery.
Since then, Bistek said that he never again saw the videos or any of the computers that were all left in Dr. Vicki’s place. In a separate interview with TV Patrol World, Eric also denied any involvement in the spread of Hayden’s sex videos.
Bistek said that because of the controversy, he had decided to take a leave from his job as a resident pediatrician. “Nahihirapan na ako. Nahihiya na ako sa mga magulang ko. Gusto ko na pong ma-clear ‘yung pangngalan ko.”
Despite the betrayal and the scandal, Bistek said that he has chosen to forgive Hayden for dragging his name into the controversy. “Kahit hindi pa humihingi ng tawad sa akin si Hayden, napatawad ko na siya. I can honestly say that. Kahit [sa nangyari] sa girlfriend ko, napatawad ko na siya.” Bistek further expressed his interest to explain his side of the story to Hayden and Katrina Halilli and for justice to be served.
Meanwhile, Dr. Vicki returned to the country Tuesday morning, June 9, after doing a shoot in Europe. The beauty doctor however still refuses to speak to the media about the controversy. Dr. Vicki now faces charges of distributing the sex videos in a case filed by Katrina.
