With a teleserye (Only You) just one of the things keeping Sam Milby busy, he is thankful that his And I Love You So director Lauren Dyogi has been adjusting their shooting schedule so that he can easily catch up with scenes opposite leading lady Bea Alonzo. “I know this is Direk Lauren’s comeback movie. Tuwang-tuwa ako kasi siyempre coming from Pinoy Big Brother ‘di ba? I really love him as a director. I feel like he spoils you, he really takes care of you. He helps me with the back stories na hindi nakalagay sa script para mas mainternalize ko yung character ko. This movie is really special kasi this is also my first team-up with Bea. Kasi the first movie that I did with her and John Lloyd Cruz (Close To You), I was the third wheel. Yun nga lang I can’t get a haircut yet kasi ganito ang gustong look ni Direk for the movie,” he revealed.

Aside from taking on a more daring role, Bea has agreed to wear a skimpy swimsuit onscreen for the first time. Sam, however, refused to take credit for such a big career move on her part. “Of course I am flattered naman na dalawang first time para sa kanya. Actually it’s my first love scene in a movie as well. Twenty-five na ako and she's not exactly a kid anymore so I think we just both have to mature in terms of acting and giving the viewers something new to look forward to. Kailangan yun sa career ‘di ba?”

Another thing that excited Sam was the island where they shot some memorable scenes. “It was a beautiful location. It was shot in Zambales. Nakakatuwa kasi pareho siya dun sa Maging Sino Ka Man, parehas talaga, it was just a different island. Pero as of now, hinto yung shooting dahil nasa London si Direk Lauren for the PBB auditions kaya araw-araw ngayon ang taping ng Only You,” he admitted with a laugh.

When Bea recently made headlines because of her rumored sex video, the dashing actor was asked about her alleged involvement with Dr. Hayden Kho. “We heard about that issue sa set kasi Direk got a text or something. But I remember Bea telling us na, ‘Hindi ko alam kung bakit lumabas ito kasi never kong nakilala si Hayden,’ And from what I understand, hindi naman sex video, meron daw hidden camera habang nagbibihis si Bea sa Belo clinic.” Being an endorser of Belo as well, wasn’t he afraid of getting caught in the same situation? “Until they have proven na may hidden camera sa Belo clinic, there’s no reason for me to believe the rumors especially the one involving Bea. If it comes out then of course may karapatan ako maniwala,” he explained.

Nevertheless, he is saddened by what Katrina Halili and the other girls who are being dragged into the whole sex video controversy are going through. “I really feel bad for them. Siyempre binigay nila yung tiwala nila sa kanya (Hayden) only to find out na ganon ang nangyari. Kahit wala siyang (Hayden) plano na lumabas yung mga videos, but still, just to video without the girl knowing it… Okay, if you’re asking me kung nagvideo ng ganyan, never ako nag-ganyan.” If he ever had any fantasy, it would involve his long-time Hollywood crush, Jessica Alba. “Yung talagang crush na crush ko si Jessica Alba. Sayang naman na she’s getting married na noh? She should have waited for me. (laughs). But no, I just find her so beautiful that’s all,” he grinned.
