Another successful Wowowee Olympics was held last Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum led by Wowowee host himself, Willie Revillame. Kasama rin niya ang kanyang mga co-hosts na sina Pokwang, Mariel Rodriguez, Saicy Aguila at Valerie Concepcion.

ABS-CBN.Com witnessed another exciting and fun-filled event na talagang  pinag-isipang mabuti ni Willie at ng kanyang  Creative Team. This event isn’t only for the fans to be entertained but it is done to strengthen the bond of Wowowee’s staff and crew and to help out the less fortunate. Mas exciting  ang event ngayon dahil hindi  lang taga-Wowowee ang naglaro, ito ay  sinalihan pa ng ilang Star Magic talents  at talagang hindi sila nagppahuli ng galing sa  mga larong basketball at  volleyball.

Before the games started, nagkaroon muna ng mini-program sa loob ng venue at si Willie mismo ang nag-entertain sa libu-libong mga naroon. Naroon din ang regular entertainers ng Wowowee na sina Eric, Lassie and Tuco. Inaliw din ni Pokwang ang libu-libong taong naroon. She impersonated Nanay Dionisia Pacquiao to the delight of the fans.

Kasali sa larong volleyball  sa Star Magic team sina Kim Chiu, Angelica Panganiban,  Pau Diaz, Dionne Mosanto, Janna Dominguez,  Nene Tamayo at iba pa. Sa Wowowee team, ang ASF Dancers plus sina Valerie at Saicy ang sumali  para maging pambato ng kanilang  show.

On the other hand, mas exciting at sobrang ingay na sa loob ng Araneta nu’ng  magsimula na ang basketball game.  Parehong Star Magic at Wowowee teams din ang naglaban.  Sa Star Magic Team, the heartthrobs gave their best shot. Sina Diether Ocampo, Zanjoe Marudo, Jason Abalos, Rodjun Cruz, Rayver Cruz, Gerald Anderson at iba pang mga baguhan sa Star Magic joined the team. ABS-CBN.Com witnessed how the fans cheered for Gerald and Diet. They were calling them by their names in their respective teleseryes, si JR ng Tayong Dalawa at Jonathan ng Only You. Naglaro  naman sa Wowowee Team sina Bonnel Balingit,  Alvin Patrimonio,  Jhong Hilario, Bentong, Vhong Navarro, Cesar Montano, John Hall at siyempre si Willie.

It’s amazing how all these stars were gathered for a good cause. Willie said the proceeds of this project will go to Bantay Bata and other charities.
