Anne Curtis used to think of Sam Milby as her ideal husband |

During The Wedding's press conference yesterday at the Dolphy Theater, lead star Anne Curtis was bombarded with questions about her own wedding ideals. When she asked who she thinks would be an ideal husband, she bluntly answered that she used to think her ex-boyfriend Sam Milby was. 'Sam and I, what we had was really beautiful. And kasi siguro with him, mature na ako and I'm not saying na there's something wrong with Oyo or Richard, kaya lang kasi bata pa ako nun.' She also mentioned that even though she and Sam are not together anymore, she still thinks of him as someone who will make a very good and loving spouse. 'Kung sino man ang ikakasal sa kanya will be very very lucky kasi I know that Sam will be a very amazing husband.'
Anne admitted that what she had gone through with Sam was hard but she has learned to accept that some good things have to end. She does not see the possibility of a reconciliation with Sam but what she is happy about right now is that they got the friendship back again. 'Sa ngayon, we're good, andami na namin napapagkwentuhan kasi matagal na kami hindi nagkita, dati awkward pero ngayon hindi na tapos na yung stage na yun. One lesson learned is that it made me realize that there are still a lot of things I want to do muna with my life before settling down.'
Anne could not say what age she wants to get married but she hopes that happens before she turns 30. She adds that a girl has no control over that because she believes a girl really has to wait for the guy to propose to her. 'Siyempre mas masaya kung papag-isipan ng guy kung paano siya magpo-propose sayo, kung ano mga sasabihin niya, hindi yung pipilitin mo siya na 'uy magpakasal na tayo sige na.'
On the other hand, Anne feels happier now career-wise, especially that she top-bills The Wedding, ABS-CBN's newest romance-serye on Primetime Bida, alongside Derek Ramsay and Zanjoe Marudo. 'I am so proud of this project. The elements that people love about Koreanovelas, the pace, the humor, romance-they will find it here. It is an original concept.'
