Precious Lara Quigaman on Willie Revillame: ‘He is a kuya to me and he will always just be a kuya to me.’

After her much publicized dismissal from Wowowee last year, Precious Lara Quigaman is now appearing semi-regularly on the top-rating noontime show. Many speculated that the beauty queen-turned-actress is now getting special favors from Wowowee host Willie Revillame who is supposedly courting her after breaking up with his non-showbiz girlfriend Nadine. At the thanksgiving dinner of her teleserye May Bukas Pa, Lara spoke up about the issues surrounding her return to Wowowee. “I have not been in Wowowee for two Saturdays na. I was told I will be there na every Saturday pero hindi nila ako pinapunta nitong nakaraan.”

While Willie remains mum on whether he and Nadine have broken up or not, Lara said she is not privy to the happenings concerning Willie’s relationships. “I have no idea. May mga nang-aaway nga sa akin online kaya nagugulat ako. Ano naman ang kinalaman ko?” she replied with a laugh. “Napapanood niyo siguro siya sa Wowowee or sa ibang shows, ganun lang talaga siya magbiro. Kapag may bagong girls bibiruin niya na kesyo liligawan niya. So it’s hard for me to tell kung nagjo-joke ba siya or seryoso. But I think hindi naman.”

She said that she will always look up to Willie as a caring older brother. “He is a kuya to me and he will always just be a kuya to me.” Lara clarified that Willie doesn’t call or text her with sweet messages and doesn’t visit her at home. For those who people who accuse her of sucking up to Willie, Lara has this to say. “I’m sorry if you feel that way but the truth is wala akong planong sirain ang relasyon ni Willie with anyone. I hope ‘yung pagbabalik ko sa Wowowee you won’t take it against me. It’s just a job, nothing personal.”
