Rafael Rosell is dating again |

After coming from a bitter and much publicized break up early this year, Rafael Rosell admits that he is dating again. ABS-CBN.com spoke with the actor at the set of Precious Hearts Romances presents Bud Brothers where he revealed that he’s been dating a non-showbiz girl for quite some time now. “I’m seeing someone, siya lang. Non-showbiz girl but we’ve been friends for a long, long time. I like her humor very much. She’s funny, of course she’s hot, basta, ha ha ha!”
Rafael would not say much about his dating status because for him it’s much better not to put any labels into the happy relationship he is having with this girl. “Everything’s good naman. I don’t like putting label on something. Once you put a label on it kasi nagkakaroon na ng complications. If you don’t put a label on the relationship and just enjoy what you’re having then it will be happy.”
The 26-year-old actor-model further told ABS-CBN.com that he has finally moved on from his sad split from Koolchx member Malaya Lewandowski early this year. In his interview with The Buzz, Rafael revealed that Malaya left him for another guy. But a few months after the incident, the Bud Brothers star only has good wishes for his ex-girlfriend. “People tell me it’s her lost but I don’t it’s a loss for any one of us. I think she gained something naman, I just don’t know if it’s something better. Ako naman I gained something new. I haven’t heard anything from her. Hindi ko alam kung kinasal na sila. I am just happy for her because she seem to have moved and in a much better place din, hopefully. I’m in this dilemma na parang if I see the guy I don’t know if I should still be angry or I should just thank him. I’m in a much better place now and kung hindi nangyari ‘yung mga ganung bagay I wouldn’t be here.”
Rafael shared that going through the break up became a learning experience for him. He said that he is just thankful that he was able to bounce back. “After overcoming something very difficult and you look back on it you will realize that things really happen for a reason. I think I now have realized the reason and I’m at peace. I think I can say I have moved on. It’s like I’m in a new chapter in my life. Lagi kong sinasabi sa sarili ko, ‘I lost a car, I’ll get a new one. I lost a girlfriend, I’ll get a new one.’ Para sa akin ganun lang ka-simple ang buhay.”
Rafael is currently with the other Star Magic artists in their world concert tour in North America. After Bud Brothers, he will also be doing another teleserye and will be part of the much talked about movie of Gov. Vilma Santos, John Lloyd Cruz, and Luis Manzano.
