Last week at the Katorse press conference, Ejay Falcon accidentally clued ABS-CBN.com in on Enchong Dee’s secret crush on Maja Salvador. Enchong was taken aback by his co-star’s revelation of his secret but there was no point denying it. When asked if he’s already courting Maja, the talented young actor simply smiled and said, “Hindi pa kami. Yun na lang. Palagi ko sinasabi na kapag dadating, dadating. Tahimik na lang tayo.”

Enchong further shared that Maja has most of the qualities he looks for in a girl so it’s not that surprising that if ever he attempts to pursue her outside work. “She's very simple and may commonalities kami. Siya yung tipong hindi sineseryo yung mga bagay-bagay in a sense na kunwari may problema siya, hindi siya masyadong nagpapaapekto kasi very positive yung tingin niya sa buhay. Kung ako very funny person, she happens to be a very funny girl also. Kapag magkasama kami, kahit kami lang, (nag-eenjoy kami).” Enchong didn’t elaborate anymore when asked if the two of them have already gone out on a date. But ABS-CBN.com later found pictures of Enchong and Maja hanging out with Denise Laurel in a posh mall in Quezon City plus his recent visit on the set of Nagsimula Sa Puso (starring Maja, Coco Martin, and Jason Abalos)

Whatever’s going on between the two of them though, they are obviously in no rush to take their friendship to the next level yet. “Pareho kaming masyadong seryoso sa trabaho namin. Nakikita ko nga yung mga interviews sa kanya na pareho kaming ang misyon e magpayaman (laughs). Pero who knows baka mag-intertwine kami?” When told that it’s high time that he also seek his own happiness, Enchong said that he felt grateful to the people who have always supported his decisions in his career and personal life. “Actually marami ang nagsasabi sa akin na enjoyin ko naman (yung buhay) ngayong mas lighter yung nangyayari sa akin, although back to back din yung ginagawang show...Nagpapasalamat ako na naiintindihan naman ako ng mga tao. Although sinabi ko noon na ayoko muna (ng love life). Basta masaya ako kapag nagkakasama kami,” he added.
