Britain’s Got Talent sensation Charlie Green arrived in the Philippines last November 4 to prepare for his guest performance in Sarah Geronimo’s Record Breaker concert at the Araneta Coliseum on November 7. The 12-year-old performer revealed that he is excited to work with Sarah even though he has already worked with her on ASAP. “I am excited. I’ve already met her on ASAP and I did a tour with her in the US in March and April so this is not the first time. She really is a great performer. She has sold so many CDs and concerts; she’s such a big star to work with her is really, really good.”

Charlie shared that rehearsals for the concert went well. “The rehearsal was good. I’ll be singing ‘For Once In My Life’ and I have a duet with Sarah for the song ‘The Way You Look Tonight.’”

After the concert, Charlie will be flying back to UK a but will be returning to the Philippines in January for his projects lined-up with Viva Records. “I’ll be doing a CD with Viva Records in January and concerts in the UK and Philippines. I’ll also have tours so I’ll be quite busy. I’m sure I’ll be having a good time.”

He also shared that there are a lot other Filipino artists he wants to work with. “There’s loads and loads of Filipino artists I want to work with because I watch TFC I see Gary Valenciano. I’ve worked with Charice just a bit so [I want to work with her again.] Christian Bautista… There’s loads of them. If I can work with all of them I’d definitely say yes.”

Aside from singing, Charlie also sees himself acting someday. “Hopefully one day I’ll be able to do a film here. I’ve done some things in UK film, though it wasn’t really released, it was for a cancer research and that was with some of the big stars in the UK, like actresses from soaps and big theater actors.”

The little boy admits that he has no showbiz crush yet. “Of course there’s loads of beautiful young Filipinas but of course I’m just still growing up.”
