Vina Morales is sad about Robin Padilla’s divorce |

Vina Morales is happy to be working again after giving birth to her daughter Ceana. Vina sang at the Star Magic World Tour Concert held last November 13 at the Araneta Coliseum. The singer-actress is now back in shape to do concerts or acting jobs on TV or in movies. “Ang hirap magpapayat, ha ha ha! Nag-work out ako at I continue to watch what I eat. Kung ano ano na yata ang ginawa ko para pumayat. Pero kasi noon pang pregnant ako hindi naman talaga ako nagpabaya sa katawan ko. I had the right diet. So after I gave birth madali lang to get back in shape,” she shared.
There have been talks of a possible team-up with her former leading man and old flame Robin Padilla who has just made a comeback to the Kapamilya network. Vina said that she is very much open to working with the action star once again. “Matagal na rin simula nung huli kaming magkatrabaho. It’s been years kaya nung huli kaming magkita ang dami naming napagusapan. Ngayong he’s back in ABS-CBN I hope I get to see him more often sa studio. Ang hindi ko makakalimutan sa amin e ‘yung mga fans na sumubaybay sa tambalan namin. Ang daming natuwa sa amin sa Utol Kong Hoodlum at Miss na Miss Kita. Hanggang ngayon may nagre-request pa rin sa aming dalawa.”
Vina only gave a brief comment on the issue of Robin’s divorce from his wife Liezl Sycangco. Vina admitted that she had heard about the news only on TV, but she prefers if she hears the details directly from Robin. Nevertheless, the actress expressed her sadness over the split. “I was very surprised when I heard sa TV. Pero I don’t want to comment much because hindi ko pa siya nakakausap. Baka kasi hindi totoo, gusto ko sana marinig ko sa kanya. But if it’s true I feel bad. Pero kasi may kanya-kanya silang buhay. Hindi naman natin pwedeng i-judge. Minsan sa buhay may mga mangyayaring hindi natin mape-predict. Siguro ganun lang talaga. What I think is important is they are okay with each other.”
Robin and Liezl were together for 20 years and have four children. They were married in a Muslim rite shortly after Robin embraced Islam in 1995. Liezl now resides in Australia with their children.
Regarding her own love life, Vina denied that she has broken up with Cedric Lee, the father of her daughter. “Away-bati naman kami kahit dati pa. Kung ano man ‘yung pinagdadaanan namin sa relationship namin I’d rather not talk about it because it’s too personal. Hindi naman showbiz na tao si Cedric. But now we’re always there for Ceana. Okay kami. He’s a very good father to Ceana, wala akong masabi.”
But Vina said that she is not in any rush to get married because her priority at the moment is being a good mother to six-month-old Ceana. “Lahat naman, babae o lalaki, gustong maikasal sa taong mahal nila. Someday siguro, in God’s time. But for now hindi ‘yun ang priority ko. Ang priority ko ngayon is Ceanna. I’m just thankful na nabigyan ako ng chance to experience motherhood. Doon ako tutok ngayon.”
