Angel Locsin: ‘Hindi ako nagpapaligaw ngayon’ |

Angel Locsin said that while she continues to be busy with Shop and Share, the online charity auction that she started with fellow celebrities to raise funds for flood victims, she is also gearing up for her 2010 projects which includes a teleserye and a movie.
The actress said that her movie with Aga Muhlach, which had been previously postponed, will be due out next year. Angel said that she can’t wait to start working with the actor. “Wow, eh siyempre Aga Muhlach ‘yun, di ba? Sino ba naman ang tatanggi at sino ba naman ang ayaw? Very happy ako na nagkausap kami at sinabi niya na gusto niya akong makatrabaho. Siyempre ako rin gusto, so masaya.” Her highly-anticipated team-up with John Lloyd Cruz in a teleserye is also expected to happen in 2010.
And as for her love life, Angel gamely answered questions about her recent breakup with actor-host Luis Manzano during the launch of Shop And Share last Saturday, November 14. She said that after their unexpected meeting during the opening production number on ASAP ‘09 some weeks ago, their communication has greatly improved. Angel even revealed that Luis flew to Las Vegas, USA to watch Manny Pacquiao’s fight against Miguel Cotto. “Nag-uusap naman kami,” she stressed. She refused to give a definite answer though when asked about the possibility of getting back together with Luis now that they are on speaking terms again. “Mahirap magsalita ng tapos ‘di ba? Pero hindi naman ako nagmamadali, tingnan natin.”
While she is now free to accept suitors, Angel said that she prefers not to. “Hindi ako nagpapaligaw ngayon. Ine-explain ko naman kasi hindi pa ko ganun ka-ready.” She admitted that there are guys attempting to court her but she would like to take things slowly in light of her recent her breakup. “Ayoko lang mag-rush. Ang hirap eh, ‘di ba, mahirap kasi hindi ganun kadaling maka-recover. Hindi ganun kadali dumaan sa [paghihiwalay]. Okay lang, nae-enjoy ko rin naman na wala akong ibang iniisip kundi mag-focus ako sa Shop and Share,” Angel explained. As to when she will be ready to go out on dates again, Angel replied, “Depende. Pwedeng bukas, pwedeng mamaya okay na ako, hindi natin masabi ‘di ba?”
She also shrugged off persistent rumors that a rich businessman is allegedly financing her outreach programs. Angel even expressed her surprise that the issue hasn’t died down yet. “Akala ko phase lang siya pero antagal mawala. Ano ba naman yun? Kaya daw ako nakakapag-volunteer to help kasi daw mayroon akong mayamang businessman. Wala lang natatawa lang ako.”
