Angel Locsin remains mum about her breakup with Luis Manzano |

Although former couple Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano are finally talking to each other months after their breakup, Angel refused to talk about the reason for their split. “Ayaw ko talagang magsalita,” the actress said, adding that she is in no position to go into details since Luis is also keeping mum about the issue. “Alam n’yo naman ako, kahit dati hindi rin naman ako nagsasalita.” Angel also pointed out that she and Luis respect each other to divulge any private details.
She also refused to answer claims that actress Maricar Reyes was the reason for the breakup. “Hindi ko alam. Ang focus ko lang ‘yung sa aming dalawa [ni Luis]. Hindi ako nagsasali ng ibang tao, so hindi dapat ako magsalita ng kung ano. Ayokong nandadamay ng ibang tao. Sorry.”
Angel added that she would rather continue establishing a friendship with her ex-boyfriend. “Ang importante sa akin mawala na ‘yung sama ng loob kung meron man. ‘Yung maayos ‘yung relationship namin hindi bilang mag-boyfriend kung ‘di bilang magkaibigan.”
The actress admitted that she is still in the process of healing from the breakup. “May mga bagay na pinipilit nating makalimutan agad pero hindi agad makakalimutan. Siyempre dahil espesyal din naman ‘yung tao. May pinagsamahan din naman kami hindi ganun kadali [makalimot] pero I’m hoping [na mangyari.]”
While she is recovering from the breakup, Angel has kept herself busy with Shop and Share, an outreach program to raise funds for typhoon victims through the help of fellow celebrities. Her work with Shop and Share led to a new closeness with Anne Curtis, who, incidentally, was also linked to Luis and Oyo Boy Sotto. “’Yung pakikipag-partner ko kay Anne siguro wala kang makikitang mas okay na ka-partner. Pareho kaming mag-isip. Pareho kami ng wavelength sa mga bagay-bagay, pareho kami ng prinsipyo sa buhay.”
