For its year-end trade event held last November 19 at Subic, ABS-CBN brought together the cast members of its upcoming entertainment programs slated to debut in the first quarter of 2010. The network will kick off with Habang May Buhay starring the country’s Teleserye Queen Judy Ann Santos together with Derek Ramsay, Will Devaughn, Joem Bascon, Gladys Reyes, Gina Alajar, Rio Locsin, Tetchie Agbayani, John Arcilla, and Makisig Morales.

Angelica Panganiban will be the bida-kontrabida of Rubi, a story of love and betrayal where she wreaks havoc on the lives of Diether Ocampo, Jake Cuenca, and Shaina Magdayao. Other cast members include Cherry Pie Picache, Cherie Gil, Coney Reyes, Bing Loyzaga, Gardo Versoza, Allan Paule, Juan Rodrigo, Dante Rivero, Kaye Abad, Megan Young, Xian Lim, John James Uy, Wowie de Guzman, Susan Africa, Eva Darren and Rey “PJ” Abellana.

Kimerald fans will love Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo which will showcase the dramatic prowess of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson once again. With Kris Aquino and Baby James as part of the cast, the show has already become the talk of the town. Making the cast more controversial is the addition of Gabby Concepcion, Albert Martinez, Coco Martin, Maricar Reyes, Jaclyn Jose, and Maxene Magalona.

Another must-see teleserye is Tanging Yaman featuring Melissa Ricks, Erich Gonzales, Matt Evans, Enchong Dee, and Ejay Falcon. From the makers of the hit teleserye Tayong Dalawa, the story is very timely with its social commentary. The star-studded cast includes Agot Isidro, Mylene Dizon, Jodi Sta. Maria, Rowell Santiago, Leo Martinez, and Ron Morales.

The return of the friendly alien Kokey is also something to watch out for in 2010 with no less than Angel Locsin becoming part of the show together with Vhong Navarro, Nova Villa, and Gloria Romero. A lot of people were surprised by Angel’s inclusion in the series since they were expecting her teleserye with John Lloyd Cruz to come out first.

Roxanne Guinoo is also set for a major TV comeback in Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal (previously reported as Mahal Na Mahal Kita) opposite Sid Lucero and Rayver Cruz. Other cast members include Ina Raymundo, Will Devaughn, Tetchie Agbayani, and Rio Locsin.

Precious Hearts Romances continues to revive love stories including Cheating Heart which will reunite Cristine Reyes and Jake Cuenca and Midnight Phantom starring Rafael Rosell and Denise Laurel. Impostor pairs Maja Salvador with her once rumored suitor Sam Milby.

The favorite teen barkada from the 90s will be back via Gimik 2010. This time, Judy Ann Santos, Diether Ocampo, G Toengi, Mylene Dizon, and Bojo Molina portray young couples who already have their own families. New Star Magic artists will be joining this show as well

Audiences should also watch Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford team up for Pilipinas Got Talent and the third installment of Agimat: The Ramon Revilla Collection starring Coco Martin as Tonyong Bayawak.
