‘It’s Heart’s time,” actress Heart Evangelista declared when she was asked if she was ready to be in a relationship at this time. The chinita actress said that she is currently dating a politician, but is taking her time about making a commitment. She said that she just wants to enjoy life and her second wind in showbiz.

To sum up her 2009, Heart said that it has been a wonderful year, and particularly singled out the Best Actress FAMAS award she received for her performance in the independent film Ay Ayeng. In the said movie, Heart played the role of a teacher of an ethnic group. The actress said that the award meant a lot to her given the circumstances when she accepted the offer. “Nung ginawa ko ‘yung movie na ‘yun, talagang walang-wala ako so ginawa ko ‘yung movie dahil miss na miss ko na talagang umarte. So parang nung nasuklian ‘yon, alam mo ‘yon it wasn’t even about the pay. Miss ko lang kaya ko ginawa ‘yung indie film. Tapos ‘yun pa ‘yung nanalo ako ng award. Sobrang meaningful lang ng award na ‘yun,” she explained.

For the coming year, Heart wished for happiness in all areas of her life. She also said that she has a feeling that 2010 will be smooth going for her. She will also be turning 25 in February.

When asked about her ex-boyfriend Jericho Rosales, Heart said that she was happy for his successful career although she is not really ready to be friends with him again yet.
