Enchong Dee says Erich Gonzales and Ejay Falcon are friends again |

Enchong Dee said working with the staff of Tanging Yaman is easy since they are the same ones he worked with on the recently-concluded Katorse. “Masayang-masaya [dahil] sobra kasi ang barkadahan namin. Tapos ‘yung support since Katorse hindi nila binitawan,” the actor-athlete related. “We are just so happy ‘yung Katorse changed the landscape ng ganung timeslot and we’re just so happy kasi we were able to maintain that in Tanging Yaman.”
Enchong also revealed that co-stars Erich Gonzalez and Ejay Falcon, who had a rift during their Katorse days are now on good terms. Enchong said that he really had no idea what caused the misunderstanding between his co-stars although he did try to help them patch things up. “Every time something happens wala ako dun sa pangyayari. Like nung unang time na ‘yon nagfi-first taping day pa lang ang Katorse wala pa ako nun. Nung pumutok naman ang bagong isyu, nasa bakasyon naman ako non so palagi akong blindsided ng mga pangyayari pero pagbalik ko naman I try to talk to them and they’re very open to work it out so ngayon they’re very okay.”
Now that the tension has eased between his co-stars, Enchong can now focus on his acting, which he revealed can be challenging sometimes. He cited that during the last few episodes of Katorse, he had to start taping for Tanging Yaman and the shift in characters confused him. “Ang hirap kasi kakagaling mo lang sa kabila, bigla kang papakunan sa isang set. Ang hirap. Medyo nahahalo. Nasabihan ako one time na nahahalo ko [‘yung characters]. I try to adjust and it’s my first time to experience it.
“Everything that is happening is so new to me. Hindi ko pa alam kung paano gagalaw, kung paano ako kailangang makipag-deal with something. Naga-adjust pa ako. Andami talagang nakakagulat na pangyayari from TV shows to endorsements.” However, he said that he is just really thankful for the experience and opportunities.
Now that he is identified as Erich’s leading man, Enchong admitted that there is pressure from their fans who expect them to get romantically involved. “Pero ang kagandahan kasi sa relationship namin ni Erich, even before we started working magkaibigan na kami. Every day we’re getting closer lalo na kapag may problema siya, nakakausap niya ko. Siya rin ang nakakausap ko so paunti-unti.”
