Vilma Santos was one of the people who’s delighted upon hearing the news about the confirmed show biz comeback of Philippine's Superstar Nora Aunor. "I am definitely happy for my kumare, mahal pa rin siya ng mga Pilipino, mabigyan lang siya ng chance uli na mabalik ang kanyang buhay bilang isang artista at isa sa pinakamagaling na aktres sa Pilipinas."
The multi-awarded actress underwent cosmetic surgery in Japan as part of her preparations for entering local show biz again. When the Star for All Seasons was asked if she is willing to do beauty enhancements too, she said, "Hindi maiiwasan ang pagtanda ng tao but I guess ang pinakaimportante yung may pinagkatandaan. Kapag pumasok yung kumare ko diyan just to enhance again her beauty there's nothing wrong with that. Ako siguro, given a chance, why not? But I don't have the chance at tsaka tatanggalin ko muna yung nerbiyos ko, takot ako sa iniksyon but maybe later on, but as of now I am happy sa kung ano mang meron ako." She believes that Nora's decisions are all for the good of her career plans which she is willing to support all the way.
Gov. Vi also said there is now a possibility of working together again with Nora, just like in the old days. "Looking forward to do another movie with you," said Gov. Vi. The Superstar's first and last TV series before flying to the US was the teleserye Bituin, with Carol Banawa and Desiree Del Valle.
