Angel Locsin will soon start doing workshops for her fantaserye with John Lloyd Cruz

After signing another two-year contract with ABS-CBN last March 3, Angel Locsin clarified that she’s happy with the way her showbiz career is going, even though her next projects are still in the planning stages. Actually mas minahal ko itong trabaho ko kaya nagpapasalamat ako,” she said in an exclusive interview with the network’s reporters.

Apparently, she also learned that it’s better to wait for the right project to come her way rather than jump right into one that doesn’t really suit her. So ito (soap with John Lloyd Cruz), kahit na medyo matagal yung wait, okay lang kasi worth it talaga.

As a matter of fact, preparations for their highly-anticipated fantaserye will soon be underway.

Rumor has it that the said project will be a bit similar to Lobo, but Angel was quick to assure everyone that it will surely surpass what she has done last time.

Prior to the contract-signing, Angel revealed that she had been taping with John Lloyd Cruz for the ABS-CBN station ID. “Kanina nung nagkita kami, medyo weird yung hi-hello namin. Tapos small talk, small talk lang. At least kahit papa’no nawawala na yung tension.

Since John Lloyd has always been romantically linked to his leading ladies, is she worried that the same thing will happen with their upcoming team-up? Mas iniisip naming paghandaan yung character na gagawin namin kasi very challenging siya talaga,” she stated.
