Jacklyn Jose was very proud of her daughter Andi Eigenmann after being chosen as the newest endorser of The Ramp Crossing.  This is just one of the many blessings that Andi got after being launched by ABS-CBN as the freshest face of primetime teleserye in the top-rating teleserye Agua Bendita.  Jacklyn said she frequently encounters people who would refer to Andi as her TV character.  “Bago pa lang si Andi pero ito na ‘yung narating niya.  Maraming tumatangkilik sa kanya. Napansin ko, hindi naman kasi usual ito, maraming from all walks of life na nagsasabi sa akin, hinahanap sa akin si Agua. I feel happy for her.”

In Agua Bendita, Andi would appear in many scenes wearing a two-piece swimsuit which reveals her curvaceous body complimenting her pretty face. Many are now wondering if after Agua Bendita, Andi will do more sexy portrayals. But Jacklyn thinks her daughter is too young for that kind image. “Nag-approve ako dun sa swimsuit na isusuot niya as Agua. Hindi ako mother na maarte, ‘Hindi pwede, ganito, ganyan!’  She is sexy. She can wear two-piece swimsuit pero nakikita ko kasi na inosente ‘yung mukha niya. Innocent sexy ang ginagawa niya ngayon na bagay naman. Kung flirty sexy baka hindi muna siguro.”

There are talks that Andi is being tapped to play the lead in the planned remakes of 1980’s films Problem Child and Temptation Island, both of which tackle mature themes.  Should these projects push through, Jacklyn said that she entrusts the decision to her daughter on how bold she wants to on screen. “Napanood ko naman ‘yung Problem Child at Temptation Island. Walang problema sa akin ‘yung story. We are living in a much democratic country now. Bahala si Andi kung hanggang saan ang kaya niya. The reason hindi ako nagwo-worry is because she always asks me, magtetext siya sa akin, ‘Ma, ipinapasuot sa akin ‘yung ganito. Okay lang ba?’  ‘Yung communication namin ni Andi no one can take that away from us.”

Given how attractive Andi is, it won’t be a surprise if young men will line up to court her. There’s a rumor going around that romance is blossoming between her and Agua Bendita leading man Matteo Guidicelli. Jacklyn thinks it’s just natural for the two to grow closer in time. “Parang may naririnig ako na hindi na sila tulad ng dati.Mas close na yata sila ngayon. Siguro naman kasi dahil tumatagal ang pagtatrabaho nila together. Mas nakaka-relate sila sa mga characters nila.  Siguro dun sumasabay ‘yung relationship nila.”
