Jobert Sucaldito is open to reconciling with Willie Revillame
by Bernie Franco | May 15, 2010 11:55 PM |

While the matter of his rift with Wowowee host Willie Revillame still up in the air, television host and print columnist Jobert Sucaldito is just going through his usual routines at work. "Okay naman ako, working. Alam mo naman ako. Nakikiramdam sa mga kaganapan sa kapaligiran," he said. Willie had publicly threatened to resign from Wowowee if ABS-CBN would not fire Jobert for disparaging comments he supposedly made about the show.

When Jobert was asked if he has peace of mind, he answered, "I have so much of that." He said that he knows in his heart that he has not done anything wrong, which is why even if he was initially hurt by Willie's statement, he recovered from it quickly. "Wala ka naman dapat ikabahala if you know naman you're on the right track."

He also clarified Willie's statement that he had been badmouthing the controversial host the whole year round on his radio program and called him "OA" or overreacting. He admitted that there had been a few times that he chastised Willie but they are merely to point out his inappropriate behavior. "We treat it like a profession, nothing personal naman ito eh," he reasoned.

Asked if he is open to the idea of talking to Willie and sort out their misunderstanding, Jobert replied, "I've always said that I'm open to have a dialogue with him provided lang na wala siyang demand for apology from me because I will not give it to him because wala talaga akong kasalanan."

For more about the exclusive interview with Jobert and an in-depth article about the Willie-Jobert clash, watch out for the July issue of The Buzz Magasin to be out in the market on June 15.
