Sam Pinto on being called ‘Third Party ng Bayan’: ‘Tama na po, masakit na’ |

Sam Pinto appeared on The Buzz yesterday to once and for all put to rest the issue that she supposedly caused the break-ups of many relationships: Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson’s, Jake Cuenca and Melissa Ricks’ and Paul Jake Castillo’s with his non-showbiz girlfriend. “It hurts. Parang ang sama-sama kong tao. And these relationship I really don’t have anything to do with them,” said the pretty former Pinoy Big Brother Double-Up housemate, who added that she is clueless as to where the people get that idea.
Concerning Gerald, Sam said that her relationship with the actor is purely professional. She worked with him in Your Song Presents Isla. She also revealed that right before her appearance on The Buzz, she and Kim even met in the dressing room and had a little chat. Sam even said that Kim told her, “Friends tayo.”
Although she confirmed that Jake previously courted her and then stopped for reasons she doesn’t know, Sam said that they are currently friends again and are actually working together in Agimat: Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla Sr. featuring Elias Paniki. She added that she has no idea where claims that Jake and Melissa broke up because of her came from.
Finally, Sam clarified that there is no truth that she and fellow ex-housemate Paul Jake Castillo are having a romantic relationship. She also explained that she went to visit Paul Jake in his hometown because of work and not for any other personal reason. When asked for a message for the people who keep on accusing her for being a third-wheel, Sam said, “Tama na po. Masakit na, eh. I really have nothing to do with these relationships. Lalo na ‘yung kay Gerald and Kim, why would I wanna break that tandem? Bakit ako sisingit don? Jake and Melissa (issue), ‘di ko alamkung saan galing…Paul Jake and Denise, that’s their problem, not mine. I don’t have anything to do with it.”
