Despite his busy schedule, Robin Padilla still finds time to push for projects for the Muslim community. He is very pleased to receive the approval on the Islamic Burial Garden that he wishes to establish for his fellow Muslims. “Kami’y nagpupunyagi, dahil sa loob ng limang taon, kami’y naaprubahan na ng lokal na gobyerno ng Norzagaray.”

Robin, who converted to Islam during his incarceration, is a known active advocate of the welfare of his fellow Muslims. “Pinuproblema ho yun talaga ng mga kapatiran dito. Isipin nyo pag may namatay, i-eroplano pa pabalik ng Mindanao. Sobrang gastos. Ang hirap hirap ng buhay, ang laking pera ang kailangan mo.”

Robin wishes this project to come true for so long that when it got approved, they didn’t waste any time. “Inaayos na namin lahat. Pina-ayos yung kalsada at pwede na po kaming maglibing.”

Indeed, the Original Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema has abandoned his old ways and now has nothing but good deeds to show.
