As Sarah Geronimo turns 22 this July 25, fans are in for a lot of exciting surprises in the month-long celebration of her birthday in ASAP XV. This is an opportunity that the Pop Princess is overwhelmingly happy to have. “Very happy; Overwhelming kasi po yung kanilang pagbibigay ng importansya sa kin. Six years pa lang po ako sa business na ito pero yung opportunity na binibigay nila sa akin lalo na dito sa ASAP, talagang surprising.” Also part of her birthday treat to fans is a segment in ASAP called ASAP-serye. It tells the story of every fan’s journey to meet the stars—a story she is very familiar with as she was once a fan. “Birthday serye para po sya sa mga supporters, sa Popsters especially. At ayun, gusto naming ipakita yung parang journey naman ng mga tumatangkilik sa mga artista. Ganun din po kasi ako dati.” And though her birthday celebration on TV is anything short of grand, Sarah only wants a simple get together with family and friends on her special day. “Baka mag-ano lang po konting salo salo lang with family and friends. Sana out of town pero titingnan po natin kung kaya ng schedule.” With the success that the Sarah has achieved, one couldn’t help but wonder if there’s anything more she wishes to have on her birthday. To which she replies, “Siguro sana mag-continue lang yung success ko sa business na ito. Yung maganda naming pagsasamahan bilang isang pamilya. Good health. ‘Yun lang. ‘Yun lang. And happiness!
