by Bernie Franco | August 03, 2010 8:15 AM |

Although Coco Martin has signed a four-picture contract with Star Cinema, he said that he has no intention of giving up doing indie movies. “Dun ako nagsimula tsaka never kong tatalikuran ‘yung pinanggalingan ko,” he explained. He also revealed that he is already slated to start working on a new indie film while he is currently shooting for the Star Cinema movie Sa ‘Yo Lamang.

In comparison to indie movies, Coco said that since there is enough money in mainstream movies to take care of all the needs of actors and staff. “Dito sa mainstream sobrang relax, eh siyempre well-budgeted. Nandyan na lahat ang kailangan mo,” he admitted.

Sa ‘Yo Lamang is Coco’s first mainstream movie, which also stars Bea Alonzo, Christopher de Leon, Lorna Tolentino, Erich Gonzales, Enchong Dee, and Shaina Magdayao.

He also talked about the movie projects he is slated to do.
