Erich Gonzales stressed that Coco Martin is not courting her, contradicting Kris Aquino’s previous statement last week in her tell-all interview with Boy Abunda. In the said interview, Kris denied claims that she and Coco have a romantic understanding because Coco is pursuing Erich. But Erich denied Kris’s claim last Sunday, August 1, on The Buzz and explained that Coco is just a good friend.
“I don’t wanna assume anything (but) he’s very nice to me,” Erich repeated last Tuesday night, August 3, at the press conference of Pantene Shampoo, where she was launched as an endorser. She confirmed that Coco asks her how she is through text messages but said confidently that Coco is not courting.
In response to Kris’s revelation last week that she asked Coco’s permission to reveal on air that he is pursuing Erich, the former Katorse star replied, “He’s not courting me at all. Like what I said, ayokong mag-assume ng anything. ‘Yun lang nagti-text siya sa akin, nangungumusta, mabait siya sa akin.”
She also clarified that she and Coco have never gone out on a date and that they became friends when they worked on the indie movie Noy and some out-of-town shows.
