Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner-Up Venus Raj is back in the country and she’s very happy for she missed everything about the Philippines. “Ang saya. Ang dami-dami kong na-miss. Yung family ko, friends ko, pagkain, everything. Na-miss ko lahat!”

Although she wasn’t able to bag the crown, Venus is more than happy and proud of what she has achieved in the prestigious competition. “Yung lahat ng experiences ko doon bilang candidate pa lang winner na agad ako. Actually, wala pong regret kasi hindi na natin mababalik yun eh. Kung hindi man para sa ‘kin yung crown, ok lang yun. At least, nakasama tayo sa Top 5.”

And indeed, being included in the Top 5 of 83 beauties around the world opened a lot of opportunities for the beauty queen including offers from industries where beauty is definitely a valuable commodity. Will she be joining show business soon? “Kung may mga invitation, OK lang din sa kin. Pero since nakakontrata pa ko sa Bb. Pilipinas ng one and a half year, sa kanila muna. And tatapusin ko na lang muna kung ano yung nasimulan ko sa kanila,” Venus answered.   

Recently, rumors have it that she’ll be joining the good-looking cast of the hit fashionserye Magkaribal. Venus said she has not heard of the offer but she is thrilled to be part of the show as long as the organizers of Binibining Pilipinas allow it. “Wow! Naku, wala pong problema. Kung papayagin naman po ako ng Binibini, gustong-gusto ko po.”

Venus also revealed that she would like to have Coco Martin as her leading man. She said she finds Coco very cute. “One time, pumunta ng probinsya si Coco. Tapos hindi pa ko sumasali ng Binibini. Pumunta sya sa isang mall. Talagang nakipagsiksikan ako para lang makita s’ya!” Venus shared to SNN.
