Star Magic launches Star Circle Batch 16

In its tradition of discovering new talents and making them into tomorrow’s big stars, Star Magic presented Star Circle Batch 16 to the press last night at the 14th floor of the ELJCC in ABS-CBN. The 20 showbiz newbies opened the event with a lively song and dance number, immediately impressing their audience.

Here is the line-up of Star Magic’s freshest faces you should be watching out for on ABS-CBN:

Vangie Martelle - Half-Pinoy and half-German, this Davaoena aspires to become the next Sarah Geronimo. 

Kristel Moreno - Actress Alma Moreno’s niece has been into acting at a very early age. She is part of the upcoming ABS-CBN show, I Love Betty La Fea.

Kaye Garcia – Another lass from Davao, she was hailed 4th runner-up in the Be Bench Model Search.

Heidi Riego - A true-blooded Pinay, who was born and raised in the US. She was a student at the School for American Ballet and American Ballet Theater.

Cheska Ortega - A Filipino-American model, who has been doing stage plays since she was eight, is a Trumpets alumnus.

Kristina Snell - This half-British girl is definitely a charmer with her looks. Shy and lovable, she is aspiring to be the next Maricel Soriano.

Dominique Llamas – Very girly yet athletic, she dreams of being the next Dyan Castillejo.

Michaela Melania – Although she was raised in Germany, this young woman is already mastering the Filipino language in barely a year’s stay in the country. She is one of the singers of the batch.

Erika Padilla - A model, a host and a health buff, Erika is already an entrepreneur at age 18.

Auriette Divina - A singer at heart, Auriette has trained under Master Ryan Cayabyab’s MusicSchool, Center for Pop, and Center for Communications Arts Inc. She is also proud of her culinary arts degree.

Nico Ibaviosa - He can play almost all musical instruments but his favorite is the guitar. This young man is also an athlete and a dancer.

Chase Rivera - This Tsinoy looking crooner may look serious but has a great sense of humor. He idolizes Vhong Navarro and Pokwang.

Reb Sibal – This aspiring actor is very thankful to have landed the role of Jonas in the teleserye Iisa Pa Lamang.

David Nagtalon - Six-feet tall David is a ramp model with a strong appeal. He may look tough but David is described as a person with a big heart.

Guji Lorenzana - This former American Idol contestant is one of Awit Awards 2008 Nominees for Best Male Performance.

Enrique Gil - His mestizo looks is a stand out and he has a comic flair in mimicking the voice of Shrek and other cartoon characters.

Pica Lozano - A true artist, Pica has a passion for singing and writing his own songs.

Justin Gonzalez – Blessed with matinee idol good looks, he has the moves of a superb dancer in the making.

Lance Christopher - Sweet faced Lance can capture any girl’s heart with his charm and sense of humor.

Jubail Andres – Resembling actor Derek Ramsay, this guy does not want to be known only for his sex appeal but also for his acting talent as well.
