“I just have fun,” said the ever-pleasant Robi Domingo when asked about his continuous rise up the show biz ladder. “Until now hindi pa rin nagsi-sink in,” he explained humbly. “I just have to adapt and get used to the new environment.”
After his stint inside the Big Brother house over the summer, Robi and fellow Pinoy Big Brother housemate Ejay Falcon appeared in the Bench Blackout event at the Araneta Coliseum, their very first fashion show. The 18-year-old was one of the most well applauded models that night. “Parang I was expecting na ‘yung more professional models ang matutuwa, pero ‘pag labas ko sa stage, napangiti lalo ako,” he beamed. “My heart got bigger. Everything was surreal.”
Just three months since he officially entered show biz, the adjudged true-blue Atenista of the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus is getting projects left and right. Aside from his current stint on the teleserye My Girl, Robi admitted to being tapped as an endorser for a popular gadget brand and will be soon seen as a VJ for Myx Music Channel. He also ranked fourth in the Star Studio Magazine’s October line-up of most gorgeous guys in showbiz.
Although he is enjoying fame, Robi still makes it a point to prioritize his studies. Good thing too that his family is giving him their all-out to support in his current endeavors. “Sinabi ng parents ko, I’m old enough, and I know what to do and that whatever I do, they will support me,” he shared.
On the issue of not being invited to Nicole’s debut, Robi was very understanding about it and has nothing against his My Girl co-star or her and Josef's fans. The young man explained that the fans of his and Nicole's loveteam have also prepared something special for her birthday. He also disclosed that he has already bought Nicole a present.
