ABS-CBN taps into the suspense-thriller genre Thrille Cine, a movie-made-for-TV which features two stories that are set to appeal to the viewers’ love for fright.

In Ang Sikreto Ng Secret Admirer, Zanjoe Marudo plays Tikboy, an ugly, shy, but kind-hearted mailman who is in love with Helen, played by Roxanne Guinoo, a woman mending a broken heart.  Tikboy feels embarrassed to approach Helen because of his appearance; hence he decides to send her anonymous love letters.  But when Helen starts to fall madly in love with the fictitious admirer, Tikboy gets caught in a more complicated web of lies.  Will Tikboy find the courage to tell the truth?  How far will he go to prove his love for Helen? 

In Karera Sa Promotion, Gerald Anderson plays Perez, a young cop who believes that getting a promotion will enable him to influence fellow policemen to lead honest lives.  He then gives his best to solve a series of murder cases to earn a good reputation in the department.  But Perez’s desire to get ahead will lead him to a disturbing discovery.  Can he survive the scary and haunting truth?  The episode also stars Maui Taylor and Bembol Roco.

Directing both episodes is young filmmaker Ato Bautista who was recently named Best Director in the 10th Cinemanila International Film Festival for his social-drama thriller Carnivore.  Thrille Cine intelligently fuses sensuality, dark humor, and suspense to create a unique and unforgettable experience for viewers.
