Fresh from her daring role in the Metro Manila Film Fest entry One Night Only, Valerie Concepcion once again shows off her sexy side on the cover of the January issue of Maxim. The Wowowee host sizzles in skimpy lace lingerie during her photo shoot with the popular men’s magazine. After her first Maxim cover in February 2007, the Banana Split actress returns with a sexier image as she gives a steaming hot interview in this month’s issue.

After winning Best Female Variety Show Host for 2008 in the Star Awards for Television, the 21-year old admits that she is thankful to be busy with different projects. “Hindi talaga ako humihindi sa work. Kasi I need to, not only for myself but my baby daughter well,” she confides in the Maxim interview. The sexy single mother of one also admits that she has yet to feel courageous enough to bare more skin onscreen. “I don’t think I would ever do something like that, yung may nudity na. ‘Di ko yata talaga kaya. Ayoko magsalita ng patapos pero sa ngayon I don’t plan to do anything like that. Enough sa akin itong konting pa-sexy,” she explains in the cover story.

Although admittedly single at the moment, Valerie admits she still watches the basketball games of San Miguel Beer, the same team that her rumored ex-boyfriend Dondon Hontiveros plays for. “Well, we still go out but not exactly exclusively,” she admits. The bubbly actress says she would rather play the field this year. “Well, lets just say, I love to explore other options (laughs). I want to enjoy the attention being given to me by other people, You know, parang nakakatuwa lang.Mas masaya ang love life kapag maraming options,” she says in the Maxim article.
