Inilabas ng Concert King na si Martin Nievera ang kanyang saloobin sa Showbiz News Ngayon noong April 23 sa patutsada sa kanya ni Jomari Yllana sa kasagsagan ng balitang paghihiwalay ni Jomari at Pops Fernandez. Matatandaan kasi ang matapang na pahayag ni Jomari laban kay Martin noon hinggil sa “pakikialam” umano niya sa relasyon nila ni Pops. “I have not started any war with Jomari and I have not started any word war,” panimula ni Martin. “He’s the one talking (and) not me. He’s reacting to the articles and to interviews that I’ve had but I didn’t ask for the interviews. I didn’t ask to guest on The Buzz to talk about it (or) to SNN. I didn’t ask to come out to make a statement about Jomari. That’s different. He went out on his brother’s show to supposedly hit me back but I wasn’t hitting him. People were asking me the questions because kasama din ako sa show na Missing You na first production ni Jomari.” Ang nasabing concert ay ang reunion concert nina Martin at Pops which was produced by Jomari.

Wala ring kakurap-kurap na sinabi ni Martin na ayaw na niyang makatrabaho pa si Jomari, subalit willing siyang makatrabaho ang kanyang ex-wife. “What I meant was I don’t wanna work with Jomari. If he’s going to be in a relationship with Pops, I wish them luck. If they need me for a show again I would gladly work with them but definitely not for Jomari. I can’t.” Inihayag din ni Martin na pakiramdam niya ay siya ang dahilan ng paghihiwalay ng dalawa dahil ayos naman ang dating magkatipan bago siya pumasok sa eksena. Matapos kasi ang concert na pinangunahan ng ex-couple ay doon pumutok ang balitang paghihiwalay ni Pops atJomari.  “I have a feeling that our working relationship is what ruined their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend, ‘di ba? they were so happy until that Missing You concert,” sabi ni Martin.

Nilinaw rin ni Martin ang mga balitang may balak siyang makipagbalikan kay Pops. “It’s something I never talked about. I’m not thinking of going back, it never even never crossed my mind,” paliwanag niya.
