Ester forbids Andrea to see Veronica again, thinking she has become a bad person.
Rafael sees Andrea crying by the breakwater and lends her his handkerchief but Balong immediately sends him off, being protective of his friend. Wilma, Miguel’s ex-girlfriend and Veronica’s nemesis, shows up at their house and gives the young woman a slap on the face. Veronica later realizes she made a mistake with the woman who came the other day. Madonna asks Rafael to accompany her to Quiapo and she introduces him to Ester, who is her favorite candle seller at the church. Coincidentally, Andrea drops by Ester’s stand and Rafael finally meets the girl of his dreams.
