Carlo says Enzo is just exhausted from all their work and needs ample time to rest.
The following day, Enzo faces Mildred's attorney on the witness stand. She makes him feel guilty as to being the main cause why the people of San Mateo remain poor. Enzo walks out of the court and Atty. Dominguez runs after him. Enzo feels defeated and tells his lawyer he has no plans of taking their case to the Supreme Court. Atty. Dominguez tells him not to give up and promises to win Enzo his case. He changes their appeal to the court from Termination of Guardianship to Change of Guardianship and says Enzo chooses Ate Belle as his new guardian. Mildred is enraged as Belle can take over the company and even change its board members should she become Enzo's legal guardian. Ate Belle takes the stand and retells the story of how Enzo's mom asked her to look after their son and how she rescued him from the fire. Enzo wins his case over Mildred and Belle is appointed his legal guardian.
