Teresa names the baby Celyn and she decides to tell Zac the truth regarding her deal with Julio and Beatrice.
Teresa also moves to Cebu with Oscar to start life anew and Zac follows her after getting his parole. Beatrice and Julio separated for a few months after their fight over Teresa and the child. However the two make peace when Beatrice decides to adopt a baby girl, whom she names Margaux. The two girls grow up to be bright children, Celyn getting medals for being top of her class while Margaux excelled in the arts. Both Teresa and Beatrice were protective mothers but the latter sometimes goes over the top with wanting Margaux to be just perfect. Teresa lies to Celyn about who her father is, after the child finds a photo of her ex-husband Mio. Celyn insist however that they go to Manila after she sees in the newspaper that her ‘father’ died in a fire in prison, where he was incarcerated.
