Lourdes realizes that Milagros is Vira’s real mom.
Ella finds herself at a crossroads as she finally tells Milagros that Gabriel happens to be the son of the late Fernan and Celeste. Knowing that this would put her life to danger again, Ella hopes that staying away from Gabriel would solve the problem. However, Milagros insists that Celeste’s hatred towards her is too great for her to let Ella go if she finds them again. Afterwards they immediately plan to flee the city in search for a new hideout. But fate seems to play against them as Aurelio accuses Dino of kidnapping since it’s the only way to keep him and Vira apart. Worse, Vira is forced to indict Dino for she is scared that her dad would have Dino killed once he gets out of the jail.

As such, Milagros has no choice but to ask Lourdes for help since the latter may be able to knock some sense into Aurelio. She further convinces Lourdes that Dino is a good person by telling her that it was his grandmother who went to her rescue when she lost one of her twins back in San Isidro. Upon hearing this, Lourdes’ suspicions regarding Vira’s real parentage quickly come to mind as well as that fateful night when she found her by the roadside at San Isidro many years ago. Then without warning, she collapses into oblivion, much to Milagros’ surprise.
