Clara asks the Del Valle’s to drop the case against her father and when Alvira rejects her, she immediately goes into a fit of rage.
Mara and Susan visit Lupe on the sly with the help of CG. But as they were about to leave, Lupe tells them she wants to go home with them. Minda panics when she returns to Gary’s house with Lupe missing and CG pretends to help her look for the old woman. Gary becomes angry when he finds his mother missing and reports it to the police. However they won’t be able to utilize a search after the person is missing for 24 hours. Susan tells Alvira Lupe is staying with them for the meantime and the latter hopes she will help them put Gary in prison. Susan and Mara are shocked to find Lupe being able to stand and walk with the help of a cane. Alvira hastens their move to a new home and says they must make sure Lupe’s stay with them remains a secret.
