Gary is furious and pleads for Lupe to come home with me.
His mother refuses to do so and testifies against him in court the following day. Gary’s lawyer tries to prove Lupe is not a credible enough witness because of her illness and it pained her to see her son still doing evil deeds. Gary tries to get sympathy from Alvira and says he only wants to talk to his mother and causes a scene. To end this, Lupe gives in and goes home with Gary. Mara tries to stop her grandmother from going and tells Gary he hasn’t changed and is.
