Edward rushes to the Tuason rest house to confront the chairman.
He retells in front of Angela and Jerome how Chairman Tuason had his father killed for the sake of his precious company. But Ricardo tells Edward that he wasn’t the one who killed his father. Although they had a dispute, Ricardo just left Danny alone. The chairman presents to Edward a letter from his father’s closest friend, his god father Victor, who apparently loved his mother and had his father killed. Edward could not believe he has wasted his whole life and harmed others because of a false accusation. Edward disappears and despite his evil deeds, Ricardo wants Angela and Jerome to bring him back to SR and help him. Angela finds him at the grave of his parents but Edward refuses to return. He only tells Angela to be happy as she has become his only happiness. Edward meets up with David Tobias and two guiltily talk about the things they have done to Chairman Tuason and the people that got involved like Jerome. They both agree to commit suicide at a building rooftop by drinking deadly pills but Edward holds back, watching David die slowly in front of him. He then goes to the edge of the building and asks Geena forgiveness and calls on his parents to wait for him. He then jumps to his death. Meanwhile, Chairman Tuason clears up Jerome’s name in court and he is now a free man. Jerome asks the chairman Angela’s hand in marriage and he gladly agrees. He then proposes to Angela in court and she happily says yes. Jerome and Angela get married in church and look forward to spending their lifetime loving one another.
