Madly in Love with My Girl!
Proving yet again that ABS CBN is the true home to
the most successful Asianovelas, Primetime Bida’s latest
addition to its roster is the Korean comedy/drama My Girl
which airs this coming Monday, May 29. Green Rose’s
soft spoken Angela, Korean actress Lee Da Hae
will enthrall audiences as she plays the quirky Jasmine while
Korean heartthrob Lee Dong Wook plays the very dashing Julian
in a romantic comedy that will surely sweep viewers of their
feet.
Jasmine’s father has a fondness for placing bets at
the race tracks.Luckily he has a resourceful daughter who
uses her street smarts to get him out of scrapes. While doing
so her ability to speak several languages enabled her to work
as a tour guide at Jeju Island. Enter Julian, the second generation
heir of a big corporation. When Jasmine and Justine’s
paths cross, the young man solicits her help in granting his
grandfather’s dying wish. The secret makes the bond
between Julian and Jasmine stronger and the two are inevitably
drawn together in a very interesting relationship.
Popular model turned actor Lee Jun-ki and beauty queen Park
Shi Yeon also star in this funny and lovable Korean romance.
Jun-ki is Nico, the rich young playboy who falls hopelessly
in love with Jasmine, while Shi Yeon becomes Anika, a bratty
tennis star who has set her sights on Julian—and will
do anything to get him! Where is the fun in a love story without
love triangles and blunders?
