 Charo Santos-Concio meets Telemundo execs

Telemundo International President Marcos Santana (extreme right) and VP for Distribution and Business Development Xavier Aristmuño (second from right) recently visited the Philippines as part of its Asian tour to meet the top guns of the country's largest media ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio (second from left) and VP for Program Acquisitions Leng Raymundo (extreme left). This marked the first for the two media giants’ presidents which have a long history of business partnership in program acquisitions. Telemundo is the second largest Spanish-content producer in the world.  It is a part of the NBC Universal Division of General Electric. Telemundo is behind some of the most successful telenovelas aired on ABS-CBN like "Pasion de Amor" (internationally known as “Pasion De Gavillanes”), “El Cuerpo del Deseo” and “La Traicion.” Recently, ABS-CBN bagged the format rights from Telemundo to localize the certified international hit “Pasion De Amor.”
