Love makes people do the unimaginable. ABS-CBN’s newest afternoon teleserye Nagsimula sa Puso shows us how far anyone of us can go just to fulfill our hearts’ desire. This sultry drama series features young actress Maja Salvador in her most challenging and sexiest portrayal yet. Playing her leading men in the series are two award-winning actors Jason Abalos and Coco Martin. Also in the cast are Nikki Gil, Gloria Diaz, Buboy Garovillo, Irma Adlawan, Laurice Guillen, and Jaclyn Jose.
Maja plays Celina, a mechanical engineer by day and a teacher by night. For most of her life she grew up following the orders of her strict and controlling mother Minda (played by Jaclyn). Celina has long been in a relationship with wealthy political heir named Jim (played by Jason). Minda approves of Jim, but Celina doesn’t want her mother to direct her life, so she turns down Jim’s marriage proposal. The devastated Jim leaves for the US to mend his broken heart.
Celina feels guilty for what she had done. In her lonely moment she finds comfort in the company of her impoverished student Carlo, played by Coco, and they make love one night. Carlo is too in love with Celina, but she knows that trouble is about to come. Minda discovers Celina’s affair with Carlo and she begins to destroy the life of the poor man. To make the situation worse, Jim comes home to reclaim the woman he loves. Will Celina fight for Carlo, or will she settle with Jim? When will Celina muster the courage to fight for what she really feels?
