The last gala performance of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 this Saturday, September 6, will put competition on the side to give way to charity. Top six scholars Bugoy, Cris, Laarni, Liezel, Miguel, and Van will unite to give their grandest performance yet for Dream BIGayan Concert For A Cause.  The show will be held at the Performance Hall with tickets at Php 100 each, which will be given to different charitable institutions.

The proceeds of the concert will go to the chosen charities of the scholars: Bugoy for Gatbo Irrigators Association; Cris for Gawad Kalinga through BayaNiJuan Foundation; Laarni for The Ambassador of Light Chorale; Liezel for Emmahaus House of Apostolate Home for the Aged; Miguel for Mindanao Emergency Response Network through Mindanao Tulong Bakwet; and Van for Cebu City Task Force on Street Children.

Aside from the concert, the Top 6 scholars will be contestants on ABS-CBN game shows with their winnings going to go to their chosen charities as well. Last Sunday, August 31, the PDA 2 finalists played a fun ‘bee-ritan’ with Cesar Montano in The Singing Bee.

The Headmaster’s List of 10 will also kick off their mall show series beginning Friday, September 5, 4 pm at SM Bicutan. Also, the PDA 2 Scholars Sing Cayabyab album is now available in all the record stores. This special CD features the AcaDreamians singing the finest compositions of Headmaster Ryan Cayabyab and Yeng Constantino’s PDA theme song “Awit Ng Pangarap.”
